Cleveland Cavaliers

Big news from the BIG team! The Cleveland Cavaliers Business Intelligence Group (aka BIG) has expanded and extended their relationship with Agilitek Solutions and the Agilitek Fan Data Platform.

Looking Back

Years ago, the Cavaliers were early adopters of the Agilitek Fan Data Platform, seeing it as a strategic move to bring their customer data into their own cloud where their in-house team could tailor and expand their data use cases and drive more innovation. And over these years, they have been widely recognized as thought leaders and innovators around the use of AI, data science, and various in-venue technologies that deliver unique fan experiences. While the credit for each of these innovations lies squarely with the Cavaliers technology team and their creative use of technology and data, Adam Schneider, Senior Director Development Operations, shares that "Much of what the team accomplished was made possible by early decisions to take more control of our data platform. The way Agilitek's products align with that strategy is one of its key value propositions."

In deciding to double down on the Agilitek Fan Data Platform, the Cavaliers identified that it has and will continue to deliver increased productivity, efficiency, and insights across their ticketing operations, marketing automation, sales enablement, and business intelligence efforts.

Now

In the months since this decision, the results are already proving compelling. The quantity of fan data points being added to customer profiles has increased tremendously. Specifically, the Cavaliers self-built data integrations have contributed over 1,000,000 new customer records from 8 new business systems into the overall "single customer view". And those records have matched at a rate of approximately 95% to existing known fans, meaning that they've both a) expanded their universe of known fans, but also b) grown their understanding of their relationship with existing fans.

Additionally, Agilitek's new Segment Builder functionality is being successfully rolled out to additional internal departments, supporting cross-department collaboration around data exploration, and unlocking automation across digital and marketing teams.

Looking Forward

Agilitek truly believes that there is much more potential that will be unlocked and realized in the coming months and years, and that the Cavaliers will continue to be leaders in the space. Stay tuned for more.
